Meet Madame Folger
Bonjour!
My name is Meghan Folger and I am not only one of the French teachers here at Apex Friendship High School, but I am also an AFHS parent. This will be my 19th year in the classroom, my 12th year in Wake County and my 6th year at AFHS. I have a B.Ed degree in French from the University of Toledo (Ohio) and an M.A. degree in French Language and Literature from North Carolina State University. I have taught every level of French from Exploratory through AP and have chaperoned multiple student trips to Europe & Quebec. |
I am originally from the upper Midwest, but have called North Carolina home since 1997. I currently live in Pittsboro with my husband, 2 children (ECU '24 & AFHS '23) and entirely too many pets. I love all things French, both the beach and the mountains, and would love to renovate an old house someday. I am a whole food plant based diet enthusiast, have a certificate in Plant-Based Nutrition, and I am a die-hard Carolina Hurricanes fan. #LetsGoCanes
